One thing in particular, and the first, that caught the judges’ collective eye in one of Alexandria’s supporting entries was the mention of her designing and implementing her own systems within the business she works for. Alongside this demonstration of initiative taking and proactivity, a focus on making customers’ lives as happy and stress-free as possible rang like a bell throughout each entry, loud, pure and consistent. This had the judges purring.
The enthusiasm for Jade’s many skills were effusive, and in their contradictory nature, reveal why mortgage administration duties can be so difficult to master. Jade is, at once, according to those who work with her, gentle while being assertive, and has an eye for detail and technicalities matched only be her people and communication skills. What really caught our eye, however, is the claim that when she talks to her clients, at that moment they feel that it is only them that matter.

Jennie’s work ethic and her habit of “going above and beyond” were singled out as a focal attribute by those who nominated her. One nominator said that without Jennie’s contribution their company would not prosper or be as well regarded within their local area as they are currently. Jennie also boasts a reputation for making every process smooth for both her colleagues and clients without the expectation of recognition that from customers that brokers typically enjoy.
Kyrie was nominated by 12 different companies. The barrage of praise and its variety is perhaps best illustrated by a number of key quotes left by her supporters: “I would honestly consider giving up myself if I did not have her support". “She provides a seamless service... she gives me the freedom to better utilise my time and never shies away from a challenging case,” and “she can deal with any issue and is always on hand.”

“We could not do without her” is high praise indeed and set the tone for Megan’s entry as a whole. Having started as an apprentice, Megan’s colleagues have been thrilled to watch her grow into somebody who always goes out of their way for the customer and is rapid in response to any query. Crucially, Megan is reported as making the lives of everyone around her easier, which is the purest description of a top mortgage administrator we came across.
Richard’s entry stood out for the judges because of this supporting statement: “He started with us less than 12 months ago and did not even know what a mortgage was.” Richard is now, the entry continued, dealing with a huge variety of work and cases, and “his progress has been nothing short of remarkable”. The judges were keen to highlight industry “new blood” that is proving that the future of the mortgage industry is in good hands.
